Colin Gray O'Hara
For the last 22 years, Colin has specialized in residential and commercial Venetian Plaster applications and high end finishes. His notable skill in conceptual design has earned him “preferred provider” status among his interior design clients.
Born and raised in Glasgow, Scotland, Colin has always had an affinity for elements of design and aesthetics.
Colin began his career in the decorative arts in ‘98 when he was recruited by management from Walt Disney Imagineering who saw him every day meticulously restoring a neighbors old cottage in La Canada California, he was invited to become an Imagineer at their facility in the San Fernando Valley, where he learned and developed his decorative painting techniques and was truly inspired and proud to have been an Imagineer and worked in that facility. He moved to New York City in April 2000 and became a freelance artist and started his own company Venaster securing high profile commissions from, Penthouses at the Essex House Hotel, SoHo lofts and many of New York's Upper East sides finest luxury residences extensively working in The Olympic Tower for management and tenants for the last 6 yrs.
Colin's passion for his work is reflected in the beautiful surroundings that he creates. An ability to collaborate with architects, contractors, and his clients has earned Colin a well deserved reputation as a true professional. Colin resides in Manhattan and Hope, NJ
